Accommodation24 simply-furnished but comfortable cabanas are dotted around the grounds, each with air-conditioning, a private shower, in-room safe and a terrace overlooking the pool or gardens. Follow a meandering path past the herb garden and yoga pavilion and you’ll find the Garden Rooms, tucked away in a tranquil spot just a stone’s throw from the Jacuzzi and relaxation areas. King size beds, high ceilings, wooden shutters and a natural skylight in the bathroom give these rooms a more secluded feel, perfect for couples or a solitary retreat. Pool Rooms are closer to the main pool, the restaurant and bar and have sliding glass doors that open up onto a private terrace. Some of these rooms can interconnect to create a spacious two bedroom suite.
Restaurants And BarsThe open-air Kariwak Village Restaurant has an unmistakably Caribbean ambience and is renowned for its use of fresh, local herbs and produce. Lunch and dinner menus change daily and there are always vegetarian options available. Friday and Saturday are buffet nights with dinner accompanied by live music provided by the hotel’s own in-house band, the Kariwak Players.
