AccommodationAll rooms, suites and villas are beautifully appointed with earthy hues, lush fabrics, gilded mosaics and decorative glassware. Jewel-embedded silver and bronze chandeliers cast warm silhouettes in the evenings to complete the ambience. All rooms include either a small garden or a private terrace or balcony, king size or twin beds, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, DVD player, Nespresso machine, complimentary WiFi, an oversized bath and separate rain shower. The sprawling Anantara Suites provide enough space and privacy for all the family, or opt for a truly regal retreat with a one, two or three bedroom villa. Separate from the main building, each villa has a private entrance, its own pool with day beds and a personal butler. The 10 one bedroom Royal Pavilion Villas are perfect for couples looking for privacy and seclusion, with a luxurious bedroom, separate living room, kitchenette and private terrace with plunge pool. The Royal Pavilion Villas are also on a full board basis, and in addition to three meals per day, include soft drinks from the mini bar and two complimentary activities per day from a choice of: sunset or sunrise desert walks, dune driving, camel trekking, archery, sand boarding, fat biking and falcon shows.
Restaurants And BarsFour wonderful dining experiences await. Al Waha is the main buffet restaurant where authentic Middle Eastern influences and international flavours are combined at live cooking stations with the most divine results. The tender meats of Suhail are simply unforgettable, as are the beautiful desert sunsets from its rooftop terrace, and influences from Arabia and the Mediterranean are waiting to tempt you in Ghadeer. Al Falaj offers a unique bedouin-style dining experience, open to the stars, for dinner during October - April only and Al Liwan serves Arabian coffee, mint teas and pastries.

A fantastic range of activities, from archery and camel treks to exhilarating dune drives and guided desert walks, are also highly recommended.
