Club Hotel Ancora - Alghero & the North West
Club Hotel Ancora is set amongst 20,000 square metres of Mediterranean gardens and only minutes away from the idyllic beach of La Pelosa, one of Sardinia’s most renowned swimming spots. From the hotel’s own private beach, the scenery is truly breathtaking combining a variety of dazzling colours – white soft sand, crystal clear water, unspoilt coastline and inlets.
The rooms are well equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, telephone and balcony, each with sea or garden view. The restaurant staff will spoil you with the best recipes of Mediterranean cuisine and in the summer, meals are cooked on the barbecue, a real opportunity for you to taste the freshness of local produce.
There are various activities and watersports available from the hotel or from the nearby diving centre including snorkelling, sailing, diving or windsurfing. If you wish to explore the North West of the island further afield, Sassari and Alghero, both rich in history, can be found just a short drive away whilst the spectacular Asinara National Park can be reached by boat from Stintino.
