Waterfront Apartments, Fiskardo - Kefalonia
For the visiting yachtsman, Fiskardo is a perfect port of call with its picturesque and sheltered harbour. For lovers of the sea who prefer terra firma or who would rather read a good book than a chart, then the solution could well be a holiday in either of the two comfortable and delightful Waterfront Apartments.
This is one of the more historic houses in Fiskardo, having been owned by the same family for over two hundred years. The present owner, Makis, has named the two apartment in honour of his parents, Takis and Eleni. His grandfather owned a trading schooner, which was wrecked off Poros. His grandmother would often stand at one of the tall first floor windows waiting for her husband’s ship to sail safely into the harbour.
The apartments have been carefully modernised and insulated. A good night’s sleep is assured as the bedrooms are at the rear of the building, above a quiet alley. There is a spacious living and dining room with two sofa beds and an open plan kitchenette with fridge. The apartments are airy and cool. The interior decoration is extremely tasteful, warm and inviting. A shower room completes the accommodation.
Guests at the Waterfront Apartments can enjoy a dip in the small plunge pool attached to the Karteri Apartments just behind the accommodation.
Simply the perfect location for watching the world go by.
